This full house renovation in Knowle, Solihull was a great example of how skilled carpentry can completely transform a period property. The Victorian house was extremely dated, with original lath and plaster throughout, so we stripped the entire property right back to bare walls. From there, Damson Carpentry rebuilt the home from the inside out, installing all new insulation, boarding and plastering to greatly improve comfort, efficiency and overall finish while retaining the character of the property.
Our carpentry work continued throughout the renovation, including fitting new skirting boards and architraves across the whole house, installing a new fireplace and surround, and creating bespoke alcove units in the lounge to add both practical storage and visual impact.
